From this centralized location you'll find it's easy to visit other area attractions. The home is less than an hour from Ashland, home of the Shakespeare Festival, and Jacksonville, which is home of the Britt Festival. You'll be 2 hours away from the spectacular Crater Lake National Park where you can try hiking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter as you enjoy incredible scenery. Two hours in the other direction, and you be driving through the Redwoods to the Oregon Coast where you can stroll along one of the many beaches, go fishing or whale watching, trail walking or antique shopping. While you're in the area you may also choose to try skiing at Mt. Ashland Ski Area, spend an exciting day rafting, or visit a local brewery or winery.
